In a not-so-distant future, a secret cell of Christians are deemed "radical" by the government because they want to read the original Bible and not the state-censored version. As they endure police raids, legal theft of their land and homes, and the psychic threat of political correctness, they yearn for an escape to a better, freer world. A spaceship called Mayflower II proves to be a reliable getaway vehicle to the Mars colonies, but even the promise of escape is not what it seems in this dense sci-fi thriller by Dallas and Greg Lammiman.
