This long-running and popular Christian audio drama is staffed by legendary voice actors and bankrolled by notorious fundamentalist Christian activist group Focus on the Family. Despite this insidious connection, Adventures in Odyssey (AiO) is a well-produced and enjoyable listen that transfixed many young Christian '90s kids as parent-approved entertainment. Our guest Marina Kittaka, an artist and game developer notable for her work on acclaimed indie games Even the Ocean, Anodyne, and Anodyne 2, was one such person who spent hundreds of hours of her childhood immersed in the AiO universe. To celebrate the Christmas season, we join the long-running drama's story when protagonists Eugene and Connie warp to Bible times to observe the birth of baby Jesus.
